


Lewiston Auburn Veterans Council
re-convenes in March

AUBURN
- Bertrand "Bert" Dutil, Liaison and past chairman, to
the Lewiston Auburn Veterans Council Inc., is announcing a meeting of the
Lewiston Auburn Veterans Council to be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 6th, at the Veterans of Foreign
Wars facility, 588 Minot Avenue, Auburn.
Past Chairman Bert Dutil said, "We have a full agenda, with many exciting events
for 2008.
The unveiling of the 15th Memorial Stone
with the Marine Corps League Logo is just one of the events the council will
discuss." Also new corporation bylaws and policies will be reviewed.
Dutil was one of the founders and chairman of the Lewiston Auburn Veterans
Council and provided the vision, leadership and perseverance needed to establish
the Veterans' Memorial Park in Lewiston.
All veterans' organizations located within Lewiston Auburn and bordering
communities, registered with the State Bureau of Corporations Elections and
Commissions as nonprofit tax-exempt organizations, are invited to
join the council.
